HIERARCHY OF HAVING

Our goal in life is to have and not need. The hierarchy of having is a diagram that allows us to see the space for experience, understanding, and knowing and where we are on our path toward having. We can identify what emotions are expressed at each level and the questions we ask based on where we are in the hierarchy.

Indeed, saying I need is saying I do not have. I need statements tether us to the past, allowing our deficiencies to prevent us from moving forward. When we need, we take; when we want, we give; and when we have, we are complete, we have the peace of knowing. As we move from a place of needing to wanting to having, we are also moving from a place of needing more than we are able to give to a place where we are able to give more than we need.
